Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dejan Kulusevski produced another magical display for Sweden as his 2024/25 campaign continues to go from strength to strength.
The 24-year-old played a leading role in helping Sweden move clear at the top of their Nations League group with an emphatic 3-0 win over Estonia.
The former Juventus star once again featured in a new central role and provided the assist for the visitors’ third goal as he teed up Viktor Gyokeres.
Kulusevski is quickly announcing himself as one of the best midfielders on the continent this term having also impressed in Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side.
Swedish media react to Dejan Kulusevski’s display
The Swedish media were once again impressed by the Tottenham star’s performance for the national team with one outlet claiming he was ‘superior to everyone else’.
The midfielder came close to scoring a fourth goal for Sweden but he did create the third as he grabbed his 11th assist in total for the national team.
Svenska Fans were the ones to make that statement, reporting: “Did not dominate the game in the same way as against Slovakia as Estonia played more pragmatically and did not give the Tottenham star that surface.
“Was extremely close to being the scorer. Sometimes feels almost a little superior to everyone else on the field, but a little less often today.”
Meanwhile, Fotbollskanalen were also left impressed by his performance, writing: “Was very involved. Came close to making it 3-0 after dribbling past two opponents in the penalty area and unleashing a hard shot that the keeper saved for a corner.
“Had a good cross to Gyokeres who got a good position and shot. Great performance as he assisted for 3-0. Good position to make 4-0.”
It’s been another great international break for Kulusevski whose performance against Slovakia also earned him praise from the media.

Kulusevski was the creative hub for Sweden yet again as the national team captain received an 8.1 rating from Sofascore for his display.
He managed one assist, four key passes and completed a total of 47 passes as he helped power his team to another three Nation League points.
